Sabine Meyer

Most people think that only famous people are Heroes. That's not entirely true. You don't have to be famous to be a Hero. Anyone who inspires you to be yourself and do your best is a true Hero. I think that true heroes should have to work hard to get to where they are now. My hero is Sabine Meyer.

She was born on March 30th, 1959 in Cralisheimin, the country of Germany. She studied under Otto Hermann and Hans Deinzer. She is the first woman to play in an orchestra. It is because of her the clarinet is back on the concert stage were they belong.

She was only sixteen when she made her first successful performance. She has been a member of at least 80 different professional performing orchestras in Germany alone. She performs all over the U.S.A. and Japan.

The reason I chose Sabine Meyer is because I can relate to her really well. I am in the band and and I play clarinet, the same instrument she does, so I know how much hard work and studying it takes to learn, how to play correctly that it takes real dedication. She studied the really good professional clarinet players just like I have studied her. One of the many things I have noticed is that she always appeared to be very self confident in everything that she does.

I hope in reading this that you feel the same way I do about Sabine Meyer. I hope you see how much of an inspiration she is to me. Like I said before a hero should be someone you can relate to. People need to have a hero that they can look up to, that makes them want to be as good as their hero.
