Have you ever been just sitting around and turn on a good Nintendo game? Then 2 hours later you can’t put it down? I know I sure have! And chances are it’s by Shigeru Miyamoto. Shigeru Miyamoto is the general manager of Nintendo. Mr. Miyamoto is my hero not just because of his games, but for a few other reasons as well. His creative mind is a big tribute to his magical fantasy games. You’ll soon discover more about his very famous titles like Super Mario 64, his overwhelming amount of encouragement and determination, and his crazy imagination. Shigeru Miyamoto is taking over the planet with his amazingly creative 3-D video game universe! To show this, Mr. M’s consoles such as the Wii, Dsi, and even more! As his magic games are sold more than Sony, Microsoft, and Sega! Everyday kids come home and do homework, just itching with eagerness to joyfully play his magical creations! Some more detail to support his domination is his popular titles. Such as his 1996 Nintendo 64 title, Super Mario 64. Running through levels and collecting items may sound boring, but not when hidden passages surprise you and evil monsters attack! Another popular title recently released is Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. They came out in March of 2010. Some series of games made by Miyamoto are the adventures of little pink ball-like character, Kirby. The Kirby series is one of the very popular for the DS family. Others that rival Sega’s blue hedgehog, Sonic are Mario and Luigi. The Mario Bros. series is far the most towering Nintendo characters. Shigeru Miyamoto is a wildly creative video game designer. Miyamoto was born in Sonebe, Japan in 1952 on Nov. 12. As a child, he made toys made of wood with crazy paint design. Another way to show his creativity is his famous plumber, destined to save a princess in a magical kingdom. This character is Mario.

Shigeru Miyamoto has many odd traits, but the one that I think is most important is his overwhelming amount of determination. One of my favorite quotes is “We may have finished that game, but we can make it better!” Shigeru Miyamoto is probably one of the most determined, encouraging people you’ll ever read about!
