Shigeru Miyamoto is a magnificent game designer that works for one of my favorite game companies, Nintendo. Born November 16, 1952 in Sonobe, Kyoto, Japan. He has made many great games such as Legend of Zelda, which is an instant classic. A genesis when it comes to games and that is why he’s on of the best game designers for Nintendo. This man is one of the greatest people I think because he helps Nintendo be what it is today. Miyamoto neither ceases to amaze me because he is a genesis when it comes to video games, has a very big imagination and inspires others to make good games, which he also makes.

Miyamoto was one of the game designers who strand away from the regular game design at the time, which was to get the high score on a video game. He used a non-linear game play and forced the player to solve puzzles and riddles, which made the player think. When he made this game he wanted people to identify the game as a "miniature garden that they can put inside their drawer." This game is complete genius because there were not many games that were like this. Not including Mario because Miyamoto made that game too.

As a kid I would always miss the first Nintendo because we didn’t really have money for the newest system but that was ok because I would still enjoy one of my favorite games Legend of Zelda. Miyamoto says that his inspirations for most of his games were his adventures as a kid. He would go into the forest around his house in Japan and explore the terrain and as a kid hesitated to go into this cave that he found but then found the courage to go in and look inside. Those adventures were the inspiration for his game the Legend of Zelda.

Miyamoto also inspired other people such as the creator of Pokemon Satoshi Tajiri, which has made many successful games. He has also made successful himself such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Star Fox, and The Legend of Zelda. Plus Mario is one of the longest living company icons in video games. It also won a world record for selling 11.8 million copies on Super Mario 64 by the end of 2007. He has inspired people who have made innovations in the modern game industry.

In the end you can see that Miyamoto is a very successful game designer that can do many things that amaze many people and show what he can do when he makes a video game. Now he makes more games such as the new game Kirby Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Mario Mix Sports. Miyamoto is a very good game designer who could do anything that comes to his mind.
