Sruthi Ramaswami was born in December 25, 1994. She is Indian American. She is 22 years old and she lives in Los Altos, California. She went to Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. She also went to a university in Chicago and studied economics in the fall.
Sruthi Ramaswami founded the Mitty Advocacy Project. It helped young people get more involved in political issues. This project made Sruthi get recognized by the Gloria Barron organization. Sruthi named her organization after her high school the Archbishop Mitty Catholic High School in San Jose. M.A.P stands for Mitty Advocacy Project. M.A.P also means to be ''A legislative team committed to improving the quality of life for the people who are less fortunate.'' M.A.P has spread over 50 schools across the country. The entire M.A.P network contains more than 1,000 students. The students that are involved in the M.A.P organization have lobbied for six separate pieces of legislation and five other have already been signed into the law.
Sruthi Ramaswami is a difference maker. It is important because now kids can know about political issues.
