Mohammed Ibnu Mohammed Ibnu Mohammed Ibnu Mohammed, well known as Serigne Mbacke Sokhna Lo, Borom Taif. Serigne Mbacke is a great grandson of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacke. He was born in 1934 in Naide, Touba. In his young age, he attended a Coranic school, in Taif, then Darou Rahmane to continue his study for memorizing the Holy Book Koran. Later on he traveled to Mauritania and Algeria to complete his education. In June 1 2005, he departed from the world in Taif. However, many people are mistaken today about the personality of Serigne Mbacke. Many may consider him as one who cared about the worldly goods. Nonetheless, he was far a way from that. He was a true SUFI. His submission to Allah is inconceivable. His forgiveness, mercy, patience, thankfulness, desire and energy to perform virtuous deeds are unbelievable. He was a pearl of humanity. He was a tolerant and generous person. People were coming from everywhere to him seeking healing. His character symbolized nobility. It does not matter what you believe; which race you belong to, Serigne Mback would treat you as himself. Help the needy and dignity were the horses he rode across the savage jungle tranquilly that enabled him to reach his ambition here and hereafter.
