His mom stayed home and his dad was a Nissan Salesman. He did not like school much, so he spent almost all of his time in arcades.

One day he wanted to see how a Nintendo Entertainment System worked so he took it apart, and then figured out how to program it. He also won some contests for game designing, and later Wrote and edited a magazine called Game Freak, which at some point became his company name.

When he was little he was fascinated by bugs. He would trade them with other bug collecting friends, which led to Pokemon. He later founded the company Game Freak. He told the company his idea of Pokemon, and designed them. Shigeru Miyamota helped him with his design. He is the inventor of Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, and Donkey Kong.

Satoshi Tajiri is my hero because he invented a new world of Pokemon to escape from this world to a new dimension, to experience things you can’t do in this world, meet new creatures, find new items, and see the cool powers they have. He is my hero because he gave me a new character to be, and a new place to explore. He is my hero because he came up with an amazing thing no one else has made, a place that has never was discovered until you discover it, and you explore it. A place to never die, and make as many mistakes as you want and, a place to take a risk. That is why Satoshi Tajiri is my hero.
