Shain William Vick

There is a man who is a courageous dad, kind paramedic, loving dad and a member of the Loveland Police Department S.W.A.T. team.

Being a paramedic requires courage. While on calls, he sometimes has to place his life in dangerous situations. For example, when he is helping patients on I-25, and they have been in a bad car accident, there have been times where other cars have crashed into the same wreck. On some other calls he was almost run over by cars carelessly driving into the accident scene. One time he had a patient pull a gun on him and his partner, when they were on a call for help. Lastly, he is courageous because he is on the Loveland  police department S.W.A.T. team. On the calls he is there to make sure the police officers and the citizens are treated medically if the need arises. And to make sure the criminals are treated after they are taken into custody.

Shain is a kind man who does humble things. Sometimes he has gone in to work, even though he is off. Shain is called in is because he wants  help others so they can be off with their families. I think he is amazingly kind because he helps people even when we are out and about. For example, while in Denver at a Colton Dixon concert, my dad helped a guy having a seizure during the concert until the other paramedics could get there. He is still willing to help others, even if it interrupts our family time.

Shain is more than a paramedic; he is a dad that dedicates time for us. One thing I love most about my dad is he takes me out on a date every single February.  He and I just get to hang out, just the two of us. The next thing I love is my family gets to wrestle with him when he is home.  Lastly, my favorite thing to do with him is play and practice my snare drum parts. During that time he helps me get better at playing percussion. More importantly, I will always love him because he is my dad and he will always be my dad and love me.

Shain Vick can get really busy, however he still is a courageous dad, kind paramedic, and a loving dad. In my opinion, he is the best dad in the whole world because he can provide for his family, bless others, and make to spend time with me.
