When I first saw Sean Malto at the skateboard competition called G v R at Etnies skate park in Lake Forest, California, he was really good and he seemed cool and he was really funny because he was goofing off and he was a funny skateboarder and that is rare. I say rare because they are mostly all full of themselves and are total jerks. He’s a nice kid and donates some of his winnings to the Make a Wish foundation.
When Sean Malto graduated high school he went straight to skateboarding for the company called Girl. He is an influential person because he is not only a good person and skater, he donates some of the money he wins to random places. Mostly he will donate to a church in Richmond and make a wish.
Sean Malto has inspired me to be a skateboarder who is straight edge, NO DRUGS NO ALCOHOL. He went to a college and inspires me to do well, and do what I love and enjoy every second of it. To enter this career I have to get myself out there and be able to see new opportunities.
His career influences 15 million kids across America and because he is better than most of them, he is very humble and doesn’t brag and boast. He gives back to charity and is a nice and helpful person. “Sean is one of the most incredible people I have met and he is way younger than me, but I respect him for what he does for the skateboard community.” - Danny Way.
Your high school goals need to be average, but there are no requirements. Your college goals don’t need to be anything because you don’t need to go to college, but people make $1,000,000 more if they do go to college, so it's your choice. Your lifetime goals need to have something to do with being successful and have fun doing it.
