My hero is Sacagawea. Sacagawea’s birth date isn’t really known. Her birth date is between 1786 or 1787. When she died isn’t really known either. She might have died in 1812 or 1884. Read on. I’ll tell you some more facts about Sacagawea.

When Sacagawea was little she was kidnapped by another village. Some of her major accomplishments are she helped show Lewis and Clark find the snowshoe Indians. Another is she traveled with Lewis and Clark expedition from 1804 to 1806. While she was traveling she had a baby on her back.

Some good traits of Sacagawea are fortitude because she was doing brave and dangerous things with a baby on her back. Another good trait is loyal because she was loyal to Lewis and Clark. One more good trait is sacrifice because she was willing to sacrifice her safety for Lewis and Clark.

I picked Sacagawea because not a lot of people know her by Sacagawea. They know her by “The girl who helped Lewis and Clark.” So I tried to be nice and give her name back.
