Saint Teresa Of Lisieux

Sister Therese was born Therese Martin on January 2nd, 1873 in France. She is widely considered one of the greatest mystics and woman reformers of the renaissance. It is said that when you pray to Saint Therese you will receive a rose in any form, for she is the patron saint of the little flower, headaches, and is called the doctor of the church.

At the age of fourteen she undergoes a conversation and falls deeply in love with God. By age 15 she was beginning her father to let her go to Carmel and become a nun, her sister had already become a Nun. After she gained her fathers permission she had to ask of her uncles permission. This took her two weeks to convince him of letting her go, after she had accomplished this when she went to caramel and they said she was too young. It wasn’t until a few years later that she was able to become a nun.

During her Nun hood she was a very consistent gardener and always carried around roses or flowers, but mostly roses. That is how she became St.Therese of little flower, also that is why she gives you a rose when you pray to her. This rose you receive doesn’t have to be an actual rose it may some is a form of a picture or could be seen on a picture of billboard anywhere.
