She was admirable! (http://www.fanpop.com/spots/selena-quintanilla-perez/images/) |
Do you like music? Have you ever felt like dancing? Can everybody make their dreams come true? Well Selena is a great example to all of this questions. Selena Quintanilla is my hero because she worked really hard to give people music. Also she worked really hard to keep a good image of her around the world. I have learned a lot about Selena's childhood, early career and her great legacy.
Selena's lovely childhood! The first area of Selena's life that made me interested was her childhood. Selena made her first public appearance when she was only 8 years old. Next, Selena had a small band titled "Selena y Los Dinos". As a result, Selena had done amazing things. At last, Selena was starting to live her dream.
Another area of Selena's life that interested me was that she didn't sing in English. Even if Selena's first language was NOT Spanish. Selena didn't know much Spanish when she was young. As time passed Selena made almost all of her songs in Spanish. She became really famous around the world specially in Texas and any other place where they got to hear this beautiful music.

Selena holding the Grammy she won for her hard wo (http://www.ethnic-beauty-central.com/) |
Selena was not only known for her fashion [Back in the days] but also tejano music made her incredibly famous. If music could make you happy or if it could make you have lots of fun then Selena had what it took to touch your heart. As a result, of all of her hard work in music Selena became "La Reyna De La Musica Tejana " (The Queen of Tejano Music) She also won a Grammy for her songs such as "Como la Flor" or "Baila esta Cumbia" and many others.
Selena was a very beautiful woman. She showed everyone that nothing could stop her, just like nothing can stop you from reaching your dreams. Even after Selena's death people hear her music. They remember her as a great and wonderful person because "Selena VIVE!"
