Serik Gazisovich Sultangabiev was born in 1972. He is Russian officer, a colonel of the Interior Ministry of Russia. Serik is a hero of the Russian Federation. He was born in small village Vvedenka in Kazakhstan. There he finished school and entered the Chelyabinsk Higher Tank School. Thanks to his thirst for knowledge and perseverance in their studies, he became a colonel of tank troops. Serik took part in the first and second Chechen wars, for this and many other achievements, he received 9 awards, which he handed over to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In 2015, he became a Hero of Russian Federation because he threw his body onto a bomb to save a young soldier who had committed a fatal mistake having started the bomb. Seric saved the soldier and survived though he had a long recovery, he underwent a lot of operations, he has not fully recovered yet. I think this person is a hero, because he saved the person`s life at the cost of his own.
