Superman is a fictional character who is in a lot of comic books and is is considered to be be an American cultural  icon. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster; ever since i was 9 years old I remember playing with Superman action figures. Even though Superman was a fictional character i still looked up to him like he was an actual person, who went out and saved people when they needed a hero. Superman has changed the lives of tons of kids by being their hero and by not letting them down when they needed someone to count on. Superman did that for me and I'm truly grateful for that.

Superman is a legendary character who has had a lot of different enemies that he's had to fight like Lex Luther,and Joker. Lex Luther is a bald  mad scientist whose only goal is killing Superman, he doesn't have any powers but his inventions and incredible intelligence help him to create weapons that he can use that prove to be almost be a super power. Joker is a psychopath with a messed up sense of humor, he has bleach white skin and green hair that makes him look like a clown. He is known as one of the most popular villains ever created.

Superman is a character that lives in New York. His real name is Clarke Kent. When something goes wrong in the city he goes into a telephone booth and changes his clothes and becomes a hero. Superman only has one weakness and that is kryptonite which causes him to lose his powers and is about just as strong as the average person. Superman wasn't originally from earth. He was sent to earth from the planet Krypton, his planet was destroyed and he is the last of his kind.

Superman crashed on earth on a farm and was found and raised there, on the farm he learned that he was different and that he had powers that no one else had. In New York he poses as a newswriter and falls in love with Lois Lane and also proves to be somewhat of a weakness because of how much he cares. Even when she goes with someone else he still cares for her and protects her from any harm they may come her way.
