Terry Fox - Terry Fox was an ordinary kid who lived in Winnipeg Manitoba. He was born in July,28.1958.Terry was a kid of sports.Terry was interested in basketball. Since he was a little smaller then all the other kids,it was hard for him.He had to keep practicing and practicing and then he was able to get on the team.He was so good they made him the captain of the basketball team. When Terry was 18,he was diagnosed with primary cancer in his right leg.While at the hospital he saw how kids with cancer under Terrys age.Terry saw a magazine he saw a man with one leg trying to run the New York City Marathon. Terry was inspired to run across canada to help raise money for Cancer research. Terry practiced for a year or more.Terry now has began his Marathon of Hope.He started his run in April 12 1980. Terry ran in Newfoundland. From there Terry ran to a lot of places.By Thunder bay Terry started to cough.A few weeks later Terry found out that he had lung cancer. Terry found his end at Thunder bay.Terry might have died but his dream still lives. THE END!
