Terry Fox

Terry Fox was a very young man who tried to run for cancer with one real leg and one artificial leg. He was a brave person! There is another person that tried to stop cancer. Her name is Alex. She has raised money for cancer by doing a lemonade stand. She raised 1 million dollars when she was small and she donated it to the stop cancer research and she had cancer in her body.

Terry Fox's birth date was July 28, 1958. His birthplace was in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After high school he went to Simon Fraser University.

The person who influenced Terry Fox was a man named Dick Traum because he tried and did a marathon with one leg. Terry Fox had some obstacles. His obstacle was his leg because he had to run with it. It would be heavy running with a metal leg. Then all the cancer went into his heart, lungs and body. He got very ill with cancer.

Terry Fox changed my life because he has tried to do the Marathon of Hope with cancer in his leg. Terry Fox has saved many people with cancer with the money he has raised in the Marathon of Hope and donated it to the stop cancer research!

I think that Terry Fox has bravery. He has bravery because he left his family and went to stop cancer and raise money for cancer. He also has courage. He has courage because he went and did something that some people cannot do - run for cancer. He did something that is courageous!
