In honor of Theodor Seuss Geisel, I did a research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose Dr. Seuss because he was my favorite author when I was a little kid. After the research, I was glad I did because I learned so much about him.
Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world such a hero? Theodor was born March 2nd 1904. He was born at Springfield, Massachusetts. His parent’s names were Theodor Robert and Henrietta Seuss Geisel.

The foundation of heroism is education. Theodor went to public schools for elementary, middle and high school in Springfield. He went to many different colleges such as Dartmouth and Lincoln College. He also attended University of Sorbonne.
Hard work contributes to heroism. The contract he signed with a company that produced the ad did not allow him to write for anyone else. The book, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, got rejected by twenty different publishers and immediately got successful when it got published in 1937.
Theodor Seuss Geisel is important to mankind and changed the world. One of his first jobs was writing and illustrating ads for a variety of products.
