Tony Johnson

by Alexis from LaGrangeville

Heroes are people who help make the world a better place for everyone by keeping us all safe. It could be something small, or something big, which makes them a hero. Heroic qualities that I value are bravery, loving, kind, caring, strong, hardworking, and courage. Tony Johnson, a brave, caring, and loving soul. A hardworking, strong, and kind man. He is full of courage. He is my father.

Tony Johnson is a soldier, in the dental unit, in the army. But to me, he is daddy. Tony met my mother in the army and became a couple. Years after that, I was born. My mother retired from the army to take care of me. In 2000, my sister was born. My father, Tony, went back to the army after that. From time to time, he would come back home to visit, but would only stay awhile.

This year, when Japan had its earthquake, the water was going to form a tsunami and head off to California, where my dad is. He was going to have to leave his home, he lived by the water, and go somewhere else. Thankfully the tsunami didn’t reach California. Now he was transferred to the mountains, then he is going to help people, and do some dental work. My mom told me that my dad would next be imported to Boston. I believe, that means he would be closer to home and we could visit him more. This affects others because he is trying to help make the world a safer place.

My dad being in the army shows me how hard he works to help make the world safer, and how hard other people work and that we should appreciate it more. It also helps me make the right decision, for me and my sister.

Tony Johnson is loving, kind, and caring, strong, hardworking, courage, and brave man. He loves his family always, and wishes the best for us, my sister and I. he tries his hardest to make sure his family and others are safe. Heroes are people who help make the world a better place for everyone, by keeping us all safe. It could be something small, or something big, which makes them a hero.
