My hero is Tupac Shakur because he teaches the world life lessons about themselves. They find out things that they didn't realize till they stop doing it. I think of him as a therapist but puts the words into his music so the whole world can hear what he has to say. He doesn't rap about just money and power like most rappers, but he tells what happens in everyday life so the people can realize we need to stop and become one nation.

Tupac has once believed, "No one has friends, we all have family who care about each other." Tupac shows him being heroic because he taught how to do the right things and to learn from his mistakes before the kids make their own. Being selfish is the worst type of person you can be. Jan 1, 1994 New Years Day is the time of the year when Tupac goes to his hometown to give back to his community so the world wouldn't see him as another black man who cares about himself. He also did this because the government will not do anything for them. He told the kids.Tupac taught how to do the right things and to learn from his mistakes before the kids make their own. Being selfish is the worst type of person you can be. "A mind is the worst thing to waste next to money, because in America those two things keep you alive in America." (Lee, Gilbert). This tells people that Tupac Shakur isn't only street smart he is also book smart. Before he became a hardcore rapper he went to a performing arts school and did ballet. On the inside he is one of nicest people you could associate with until you cross his back and he gets mad at you and that's the only type of person people see him as. If you really listen to his lyrics they tell a story that is happening in the world that people see but avoid. If it was me I would give money also because I love helping others. I get a good feeling inside when I do help them.

Tupac is trustworthy person because when he knows he did something wrong he confesses the truth instead of trying to lie and get out of trouble the easy way. "I Tupac Shakur did J-Walk the day of October 21, 1991 and was beaten down by some crazy Ol' cops who thought they were tuff enough to mess with me." (Lee, Gilbert). Even though that was a minor setback of being a good person two months later he apologized to the judge and the cops he beat up for trying to beat him up for J-Walking. This shows that no one is perfect but you can make up for the mistakes you make by confessing and thinking about the consequences in the outcome. Tupac always says, "The past is the past, the future is now." Tupac is trustworthy because he is loyal to all of his friends no matter what they do to affect him he has no reason to lie well that's what he tells everyone in the court when he was convicted for rape in a hotel "November 2, 1990 Tupac was accused for rape in the Hilton Hotel. The anonymous women told the court he raped her in the bath tub." (Kirkhm, Stephen). When the cops went to search for clues there was no evidence of him raping the woman. After they asked the woman for the truth she told the court that he didn't rape her and is one of the nicest guys she has ever met. This is when people realized that Tupac Shakur wasn't that bad of a person as his lyrics showed him as. Other rappers took him as a joke. When his producer Suge Knight started losing money because of Tupac's image started to go downhill because of the case people started to go after Tupac's life. "September 13, 1996 the famous Tupac Shakur dead from a shooting in a car." When Tupac died it was devastating to all of the fans dying from such a young age. They don't know who the shooter is till this day. They believe it was Suge knight because when Tupac dies all of his money goes to himself and no one else. Tupac is a very successful music artist, actor and graffiti artist. He inspired me to be who I want to be and not to let anyone else change that.
