Tupac Shakur

My hero is hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur. The reason he's my hero is because of his music, poetry, and what he's gone through when he was a kid in his past. His music is different from the other hip-hop singers' music. He rapped about his life, and the situations he got himself into when he was a kid. The lyrics of his music were more different that all the other singers' lyrics.

When he was a kid he grew up without a father. His mom had to work for the whole day and he ended up growing up in the ghetto. When he was 16 he was in track. For a while he was doing good, and whenever he'll just be writing poems to pass his time. He would always be writing his poems; to him poetry was his passion.

It was hard for him to grow up while black discrimination was happening. One time two policemen had jumped him for no reason and they would just beat him. Sometimes Tupac would fight back but all the time that happened to him he ended up going to court. He never let anything hold him back from anything.

When he was growing up he made some of his poems into music. It was very easy for him to do a song because he was already a good poet, and poetry was like a song. After all that, he did some underground concerts. He made some of his songs into CD's and sold them in the street. That's how he started with his career.

The last time he was alive he was at Las Vegas. He was shot in his back after a boxing fight. He was just talking to some guy and he got shot in the back. The next day he was pronounced dead.
