Taylor Alison Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an 18 year old country pop singer from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She went from an unknown artist to a rising country star. I think Taylor Swift is considered a hero because when she was 11, she sang the national anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers NBA game. Also when she was 12, she could play a 12 string guitar and sing beautifully, and when she was 13, she had written over 200 songs.

Taylor Swift sang in front of the whole world at only 11 years old. She was an inspiration to the ball game and to the world. She had a beautiful voice then because only people with amazing voices can sing in a world wide football game! She was singing at local karaoke contests, festivals, and county fairs. She even recorded some demos in her early age!

By the age of twelve, young Taylor could play, and very well, a twelve string guitar. And also started the long road of being a star. She would often take trips to Nashville with her family. She would play her demos for music props, and chat and send her songs and lyrics to local songwriters. Also she signed an artist development deal with RCA records. Shortly after, Swift and her partner, Liz Rose, put their heads together and wrote "Tim McGraw". And then a year later, she got her big break as a songwriter.

When she was 13, her songwriting carrier really took off. She had written over 200 songs and signed her publishing deal with Sony/ATV. She was the youngest staff songwriter ever hired there. Since she took so many trips to Nashville, she and her family moved to an outliving Nashville suburb. For her first album, she wrote three songs by herself and had a little help by Liz Rose to write the other seven. One of Taylor's hit songs is "Tim McGraw". Taylor claims its based on a true story of her life.

I think Taylor Swift is a true hero because she touched the hearts of millions with her beautiful voice and well thought out songs. Taylor Swift is my hero, and I think she should be yours also. She could teach you to follow your dreams at an early age and share your talent to the world and become known because Taylor Swift is only 18 years old and followed her dreams to become a star.
