My hero is Taylor Swift. She is my hero for many reasons. One reason is that she inspires me to finish what I started, and she also inspires me to never give up. Taylor was born on December 13, 1989. She was born in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Taylor is a Country music singer-songwriter. Her full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor grew up on a Christmas-tree farm.

Her mom's name is Andrea Finley Swift. Her dad's name is Scott Kingsley Swift and her brother's name is Austin Swift.Taylor only has one brother, but doesn't have any sisters.Taylor's father grew up in Pennsylvania where he met Andrea Swift in Texas. Taylor's father was born In March 5, 1952. Taylor's brother was born in March 4, 1993. And Taylor's mom was born in 1958. Taylor's mom and dad got married in 1988 in Harris, Texas. Just one year later, Taylor was born and the family would never be the same once the world learned about their little song bird.

In her childhood Taylor would get bullied a lot and would be made fun of. She would be made fun of because she liked country music. Taylor used to hang out with some girls, but then she couldn't hang out with them because she wasn't pretty or popular. Then in ninth grade she relocated to Nashville, then they finally wanted to be Taylor's friend.They came with her T-shirt and asking for her CD. She started her career at the age of 11 in Nashville for asking for a record deal. In fourth grade Taylor won the National poetry 3 page poem called ''Monster in My Closet.'' She wrote songs to express her emotions. Taylor started to perform in local Karaoke contests, festivals, and fairs. She began visiting Nashville, Tennessee and work with local writers. First major show was a well-received performance at the Bloomsburg Fair.

Taylor has won four Grammys, seven American music awards, and one MTV video music award. She donated $500,000 to victims of the 2010 floods in Tennessee, $250,000 to a charity involved in helping kids caught up in the west Alabama tornado earlier this year, and money to a British charity in need.

She plays the Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Banjo, and the Vocals. She learned how to play the guitar at the age of 12. Taylor played a 12 string guitar. She got her first guitar in Christmas from her parents. Taylor played the guitar for hours until her fingers started to bleed. When she was a baby she would go up to strangers and sing the ''Lion King.'' She has written over 200 songs. Taylor discovered Country music when she was six years old. She got a CD of LeAnn Rimes album ''Blue and Fell in Love.'' Taylor knew every song LeAnn ever sang. Then Taylor knew she wanted to be the next big country star. She sold in excess of 20 million albums worldwide. Taylor wrote her first hit song when she was 14. In 2008, at the age of 19 Taylor became the biggest-selling solo artist of the year with more than 7 million albums sold. Despite being only 21 years old, she has released 3 highly successful albums and completed 2 major tours. When Taylor's Fearless hit the streets in November 2008 it quickly sold more than $590,000. The first song she ever wrote was ''Lucky You" She is my hero. When Taylor's computer got broken a repairman came to fix it and while doing that he showed her how to play three chords on Taylor's guitar. And this is why Taylor Swift is my hero.
