For me a hero is brave, intelligent and resilient. He must adapt to all situations. He must be dynamic and fearless, someone who stands out from others; a hero is someone who fights for a great cause like saving his freedom and that of his fellow man.

Tyler Bradt was born on June 2nd, 1986 in Stevensville in Montana. For me Tyler Bradt is a hero because he is a professional of kayak and then he saved Steve Fisher during the descent of the Congo at the passage of Inga. Steve Fisher was sucked up into a whirlpool.  "This river is like no other, and the rapids are much more difficult than we imagined," said Steve. He stayed stuck in his kayak upside down for a minute. Tyler Bradt tied him to his kayak and gave him a life jacket because his life jacket was not enough because the waves were so powerful they could pull him down to the bottom. His kayak and paddle were recovered by the other group members. He was very scared and thanked his friends. He even made a film called The Grand Inga project.

In this situation he was very fast and was able to manage the situation. I think if Tyler were not there, Steve would be dead! Next, in the descent, Steve was sucked in by a vortex again with another kayaker: Rush Sturges.
