My hero is absolutely Tina Maze. She was born in 1983 in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. She has been my hero for all my life, no matter where or when.

Tina Maze invested all her power in skiing; her passion. She is one of the most successful skiers. She won two silver medals in the Olympic Games in giant slalom and super giant slalom. She also won a gold medal in giant slalom and a silver medal in combination in The World Cup of Alpine skiing. Her total score in this competition was eleven medals. Slovenia also chose her for athlete of the year. She finished her season in 2009 by winning the finale of The World Cup in Garmisch. Because of her beauty she became a successful fashion model too. Recently she has also recorded her first song.

But the most important thing is that she has reached her goals! She is very important to me because she has followed her dreams for all her life. She has failed many times, but she has never given up. She always got up and continued training to reach her goal. She always has a smile on her face. She has done more than just reaching her goals. Every time when I want to give up or when I lose my hopes I remember her and continue.  I believe that if I train hard, maybe, one day I will be like her and I will reach my final goals. She inspires me because she has time for friends despite her busy schedule.
