My hero is Tony Romo, he is the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys football team. Not only is he a great football player, but he is also a great person and a role model for all kids. He is my hero because every time I see him play he inspires me to get better at football, school, and to be a good citizen.

Tony Romo was born on April 21, 1980 in San Diego, California. His real name is Antonio Ramiro Romo. He is half Mexican on his father's side and half American on his mother's side of his family. He grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin where he played both basketball and football in high school.

Tony Romo attended the Eastern Illinois college. When Tony Romo was in college he got many awards, called the 3x all ovc [2000-2002],3x ovc Player of the Year [2000-2002],3x all American award [2002]. When Tony Romo was in college he threw 85 touchdown passes and completed 164 of 278 passes.

In 2003 Tony Romo was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. After the draft he signed up and started at the training camp. In 2004 Tony Romo threw the winning touchdown with six seconds left on the clock. Tony Romo was a backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, and now he is the starting quarterback.
