Jayceon Terrell Taylor

by Sacoya from California

My hero is Jayceon Taylor, best known as THE GAME. The reason why I choose him is because he’s funny, sexy, intelligent, ganster, and keeps it real with others. The Game is the second best rapper in Compton.

Game is a rapper from Compton. He used to be in a group called G-unit with 50cent, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Mase and Olivia. Game got kicked out on September 26, 2005. Game is now independent and now disclaims G-unit. The Game has also done great #1 hits like “How we do”, “Dreams”, “Hate It Or Love It”, and “Put You On The Game.” He also collaborated with great artists like Mary J, T.I, R.Kelly, Dr.Dre, Easy E, and many more.

Game lives in Compton, California on a street called Cedar Block. Game hangs out by the car wash at the corner of Cedar Block. “Cedar Block is where I be at all the time. I been there ever since I was a little kid. Cedar Block is a dangerous place for little kids but I manage to keep it safe,” says Game. Game was arrested on October 30, 2005 because he refused to take off his Halloween mask while signing autographs.

Game was born November 29, 1982. He has a son name Harlem Caron Taylor; born June 30, 2003, he’s now 2 years old. The baby's momma's name is Aleska. Game has 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Game almost died in 2001 from 5 bullets. He was in a coma and was two beeps away from a straight green line to death. “I thank God that I’m still alive. And now that I’m famous for my rapping skills, I thank God for that. I been rapping for almost 2 years and love the fame. I thank every one that believed in me and knew I could do it when I wanted to quit,” says Game..

Jayceon Taylor is my #1 hero. Game is like an idol to me. I love him for his personality. He’s nice if you met him before. I met him twice. Game is very sweet, he’s not a bad person like everyone thinks. When I first met him it was on my birthday July 20. He said happy birthday and gave me a hug and said “Don’t give up on your career and follow your dreams and stay in school.” I personally thank him for that advice and thank him for keeping it real. Thank You Jayceon Taylor for keeping it real with others and I thank you for that.
