My hero is lead singer of Slovenian rock group Siddharta, Tomi Megliè. He is 28 years old and he already achieved more in his life than many people achieve in their lifetimes.

He started the group called Siddharta in 1995 with his schoolmates. By the year 1999 he wrote music and lyrics for 11 songs for their first album.

Three years later Tomi wrote another 15 songs, both lyrics and music, for their second album called Nord. This album also included the song called Eboran, which is a song that is sung backwards. After the year 2001, Siddharta disappeared from public life.

They released a new album in 2003 and again Tomi wrote all songs and lyrics. On 13th September 2003 they performed at Central Stadium in Ljubljana in front of over 30,000 fans. This concert is known as largest concert in Slovenia. After 3 years of silence from Siddharta, they released another album in 2006. Tomi wrote 12 songs for this album.

Up to now, he has written 52 songs. He started writing songs in English. He wrote all lyrics for the album in English and then translated them into the Slovenian language. For the second album he already wrote lyrics in Slovenian and then translated them into English.
