Tommy

by Alexandra from Buenos Aires

My every day hero is my cousin Tommy because he is very careful about others, especially poor people because when I go to walk with him and my sister to the Olivos Park and he sees somebody asking for money and food he goes and buys something to give to that person.

My hero, Tommy is very smart, thankful and polite. Tommy lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina in a house with his parents. He is twenty-four years old. He works by making comments about some movies and then they come out in a magazine.

Tommy is very important for me because on top of being my cousin he is special because when I’m sad or bored, he always has a solution to make me happy like going to the beach, going to buy “water balloons” to do a water war or to take me for a walk with the dogs.

I can compare my hero to Gladys the character from the story “The Little Women” because she helps poor people to escape from the Japanese army and my cousin helps the poor people by giving them money and food.

I chose my cousin as my hero because he is very generous with other people. He is faithful, funny, friendly. I love him very much and he is very lucky to have me as his cousin and having all the family he has.
