A tragic event happened on April 6th, 2012. A woman was driving in her Nissan truck, down the Seward Highway, when an ice chunk slid off the adjacent cliff. The woman saw the ice chunk falling, but it was too large for her to be able to avoid it. The heavy ice chunk came down on her car, leaving it absolutely torn and crumpled.
The tow truck driver was the second car to stop for the wreck. He and the owner of the first car managed to tie up the truck and the tow truck driver used his truck to pull out the wreck, eventually saving the woman. If it weren't for him, the woman inside the truck would have died.
