A hero is a person who is willing to give his/her life for another, and also not give up for what he/she believes in. Tupac was a rapper. He was poor when he was a child, but fell into a job he wanted and was able to follow his dreams. Tupac is considered a hero to people because he fought for what he wanted, didn’t give up, and showed there are possibilities for anything.

Tupac’s family consisted of his mother and sister because his parents were separated even before he was born. He was born on June 16, 1971 Brooklyn, NY. His mother was poor and they moved a lot. For example when he was 17 years old he moved to Marin City before school was done. Eventually he became a dancer for an underground club.

He was living on the streets as a hustler, and he met shock-G, the underground club owner, and the crew decided to let him join as a dancer and their roadie. After that he played his music and started to record it. He then became a big seller, with his album 2pacalypse, In September 1996, Tupac was debating on leaving his music behind, but no one ever knew. Another rapper named Biggy was a big rival to Tupac, he played his music, and people listened and liked him. Tupac was shot by a “drive by” on September, 13 1996 in Las Vegas, NY. People thought it was Biggy at that time. Biggy six months later after 2 Pac’s death was shot by a similar incident.

A hero is someone willing to not give up for what they believe in. Also finish what he/she started. Tupac showed people that from nothing you can become someone for as long as you want it to go, even through poems he created. To this day Tupac’s memory is still alive and he is a hero to many people.
