    Have you ever had a hero, someone that inspired you,it could be anyone. I'm going to tell you about my hero. His name is Usain Bolt.  If you have never heard of him, you are going to learn about this guy.  First of all, he's is the fastest runner in the world. He was born on August 21st 1986 in Trelawny, Jamaica. His parents' names are Wellesly and Jennifer Bolt, they were not famous for anything. Usain's siblings are Sadeeki and Sherine. All of his family members were normal people, but Usain was different, he became famous.

As Usain grew up, he had always run and his parents were like, "Wow, our son is fast." So at school, when he was 12, Usain tried for the 100m distance race. After a few weeks, kids asked to race him but Usain beat them all and became the fastest kid in school. Then in high school he raced in the Olympics and he won his first championship medal in the year 2001. In 2007, Usain broke Don Quarrie's 200 m Jamaican record with a run of 19.75 seconds. Bolt won a 200 m gold medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships, making him the competition's youngest-ever gold medalist.

When Usain was first practicing for the track competition in 2003, his coach got frustrated with him because Usain had not focused on the track competition and he had been slacking at track practice. In 2008 his season started very well when he broke the world record and set a new record which was 9.72 seconds. He was very excited when he broke the record. Also, his achievements in sprinting have earned him the nickname, " Lightning Bolt".
