My hero is someone who doesn't do something original. She went to Mt. Sac for college, but didn't complete her time. However she is still working on it after having three kids. That hero is important to me, and she is my mom.
My mom was born in Santa Monica, California. Then my mom's family moved to Ontario, California. My mom had Sultana's old principle, Mrs. Michelson, for one of her teachers. An obstacle that my hero had to face was during when she was 9. Her parents worked during the day, so my hero had to take care of her little sister. My mom became responsible for her little sister and older brother, meanwhile her parents were working to support the family. How my mom got through the obstacle was that she learned to manage her time wisely. For she can get chores done, homework done, and take care of her little sister.
Who inspired my hero? My hero was inspired by her parents. They always told her to be the best you can. Also they were always reminding her to do well in school because it's going to count in the future. That changed my hero's life because she did do good in school, and during that time she worked at many places to support the family as well. She worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and at K- MART. She noticed during her life that she was a parent at age 9. After my hero graduated from Ontario High School her first job was a teacher's aid for pre- school. Finally, my hero started to work at PUSD (Pomona Unified School District).
My mom has many character traits, but let us focus on three. First, she is determined because she cares for her kids to be on time to everything. Second, she is positive because she always makes me feel good when I'm down on myself. Finally, she is dependable because she is responsible, respectful, and mature.
My hero inspires me because she's always busy with her kids, but never has time for herself. She had a divorce with her husband, and instead of being sad she was very brave and determined to still care for her kids. I know that my mom will get over this divorce before I do.
