WR Seal

You probably never heard of Bill Seal, maybe because he was named WR and had just that until he joined the navy as just a cook and was given the name William. But his shipmates called him Bill. He was on the USS Nevada during Pearl Harbor. During the attack he took down two of the dive bombers with the mounted deck guns. After the attack he talks of going to save the surviving men. He said he would never forget the sights of that sad day. After the war he went to work as a mechanic. Then he was a state trooper. When he retired he had constant health problems. What I haven't said is that he is my great grandfather. I am making this because the day I make it is the day after he died. His death date is 9\6\11 - today is 9\7\11.
