Warren Buffett is the most generous and most kind man in the world. A hero is someone who is kind, skilled, and generous. Warren fits this definition. Warren was born August 30, 1930 to his father Howard Buffett. He had two sisters. He has had an interesting life. Currently he is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and a lot of the money coming out of it goes to charity.

Warren is skilled. At the age of six, he purchased six coca cola bottles from his grandfather’s grocery store and sold them for a five cent profit while other kids were playing games on the sidewalk. This shows how smart he was at such a young age. He is skilled because he has made his livelihood profiting off the stock market. He knows what to buy and when. He does a lot of research on the stock market to make as much money as he does.

Warren Buffet is generous because he has promised loads of money to different charity foundations specifically, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Even though he’s one of the richest people in the world, he treats his fortune like money doesn’t change a person and who they are and how they should be treated.

Warren Buffett is kind because he puts others before himself. One time he gave away 37 billion dollars to charity. There are so many ways to describe how kind he is. He gives better lives to others by supporting many foundations specifically the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Every year he donates money to this foundation. Some of that money is used bring innovations to healthcare. The HIV research programs help researchers around the world study and cure the disease. He also supported the children’s vaccine program, which is to help vaccinate against the disease encephalitis. Those are just two of the many programs supported.

Warren Buffett is important to me because once in my life I thought money was everything. One time when I was riding in the car, my dad told me life isn’t about money and I didn’t quite get what he meant by that. This year in math class the teacher told us about Warren’s Company, Berkshire Hathaway. I wanted to look him up and see what he did to make as much money as he did. After researching about what he did in his life, I now realize that money isn’t everything. That is why Warren Buffett is my hero.
