He is a genius that keeps on improving his creation. He did not create gum itself but managed to make it less sticky so that you could blow a bubble without it sticking to your face. He was born in 1904 and died in 1998. Walter married a woman named Adelaide. He also had a boy and a girl. In 1927 he went to the Fleer company where he made history.

Along with his invention Walter Diemer created many different flavors. He wanted to make as many flavors as he could so that everyone could enjoy his creation. Some of the many flavors he made are peppermint, vanilla, cinnamon, and many more. He also created a different kind of bubble gum called double bubble. It was the most popular bubble gum at that time. He was clever to create many flavors because all bubble gum chewers will have at least one flavor they like. Step four, the gum gets flattened by a roller. Finally, the gum is wrapped, packaged, and shipped around the world.
