A hero is a person who is a good role model with good character traits, such as, loyalty, respect, and trustworthiness. Walt Disney was a man of all these traits. Walt Disney, known mostly for his animations is a fitted hero because he never gave up on all of his dreams because of his determination and his dedication. He also made all of his works very creative which made kids have an active imagination. “Disney made so many fun places for us to have a variety of imagination.”

“Walt Disney was born as Walter Elias Disney on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois.” As a child, “Walter was in school until he dropped out at age 17.” He had to serve for World War 2. After the battle, which was successful, “Disney arrived back in Kansas in 1919.” Spending about 5 years in Kansas, he made animated cartoon advertisements. “After 1922, He had created a cartoon shop for animation and for making cartoon characters.” “At the age of 23, he was sent to Hollywood around 1923.” “His first creation was Mickey Mouse, which came out very successful.” Mickey Mouse was aired with a steamboat Willie, which was the first sound voice feature. “He soon died on December 15, 1966 in Los Angeles, California.”

As a little boy he always wanted to draw and he always dreamed to become a famous artist and to have his own company. He never gave up on his dream. “Disney moved to Hollywood, with his brother and long-time associate Roy, in 1923.” “His first successful creation was Mickey Mouse.”(Adams) Walt Disney was really determined to finish his dream, and he never gave up on it. He wanted to prove to his family and kids that he can create a wonderful place, where everybody can feel happy. He created carton animals that resembled farm animals.” Disney created and gave money to start a university, the California Institute of Arts.”(Adams) Disney just didn’t want his own shop to do his animations, he was determined to create his own institute for people to apply and learn more about arts and how to draw. Without his dedication and determination, he couldn’t have done it if he never gave up on any of his dreams.

He worked really hard when he was trying to fulfill his dreams. “He worked in the Hollywood studio for 330 hours just to make Mickey Mouse Club television programs.”(Bondi) In this quote, it shows that Disney worked really hard to finish his shows. He worked really hard to make the Steamboat Willie, which was a feature that had sound and color. “Truly a genius-creative, with great determination singleness of purpose and drive.”(Bondi) Disney had always wanted to make movies and characters all colorful. He worked really long hours and sometimes he would sleep over at the studio to finish up his scenes and his filming. Walt Disney was a man who used his imagination and creativity to fulfill his dreams. Walt created places for kids to have an active imagination.

Walt created places for kids to have an active imagination. “He became one of the entertainment industry’s most prominent and influential figures.”(Walt) there are different types of heroes. Disney was a man that used his imagination, skill, and creativity to finish all of his works. He created many fun places for people to enjoy. “Besides his many films, Disney is also remembered for introducing an amusement park.”(Walt) Disney created so much stuff. Many people are inspired by him because oh what he did.
