Walt Disney was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 5^th, 1901. He was a cartoonist, film producer, animator, screenwriter, company founder, director, and a voice artist. He lived in many places he lived in Illinois, California, and Missouri. His parents were Elias Disney and Flora Call. A hero must have a reason that they are a hero to people. For me, Walt Disney is my hero because he came up with some great sayings and he was the creator of everything Disney. Walt possesses intelligence, creativity and positivity, therefore he is a hero.

Mr. Walt Disney was a man with many characteristics. For me, my favorites were how he was a very intelligent, very bright and smart man. Walt Disney was coming up with a new and very successful idea. "Disney's disposition toward nostalgic sentiment and fantasy was evident in its design and construction". Walt Disney came up with the idea of building a park with all of these characters as the theme. He worked hard on designing the park for families of all ages. That dream did come true, Disneyland opened in 1955. Walt Disney made his first cartoon movie. "..first feature-length cartoon, Snow White (1937)"(world biography) Walt made his first full length cartoon movie in 1937. That cartoon was called "Snow White", and it has been one of the classic Disney movies. Overall Walt Disney was a very intelligent man who had a lot of great and very successful ideas.

Walt Disney was a very positive man: he once said "If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember this whole thing was started by a mouse."(brainy quote) Walt Disney was very successful when it came to producing, directing, or creating movies and TV shows. "In 1954 Disney successfully invaded television, and by the time of his death the Disney studio had produced 21 full-length animated films, 493 short subjects, 47 live-action films, 7 True-Life Adventure features, 330 hours of Mickey Mouse Club television programs, 78 half-hour Zorro television adventures, and 280 other television shows."(world biography) Walt Disney was always positive when he was direction or producing or creating shows, movies and etc. He would be happy when he was doing these kinds of things. Walt Disney had some good friends and some bad ones. Here is what some of them did to him: "...in 1928, Walt discovered that M.J Winkler and her husband, Charles Mintz had stolen the rights to the character away from him." M.J Winkler stole all of the right to the characters of the show "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit"(imdb). Walt Disney was sad when M.J Winkler and Charles Mintz betrayed him and stole the rights to his characters, but he stayed positive by creating new characters. After all that he went through, Walt stayed positive and was very successful will almost all of his Disney films.

Walt Disney, with no questions asked, was a very creative person. You can see this because of all of his successful films and productions. Walt was creative at his school and at home. "..he took photographs, made drawings for the school paper, and studied cartooning on the side..." Walt started his career by doing some of his first drawings that he ever did for the newspaper. He did this right after he moved back to Chicago from Kansas City, Missouri. Walt came up with a new idea for a new show called "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit". After the rights of his characters were stolen he, moved on to drawing since that was his favorite thing to do. Overall, Walt Disney was a very creative, positive, and intelligent person. He had about 1178 successful productions and ideas. 

Walt Disney was an intelligent, creative and positive person. He was also very smart. He was a very creative drawer and creator. He also was a very good director and had a great imagination. He inspires me because he makes "all dreams come true". Walt inspired me to like drawing and writing stories. He also made me happy when I went to go see one of his largest creations, that place was Disneyland. Walt Disney has inspired everyone in some way or made people happy when they go to Disneyland or Disney World. He has always made kids happy through movies, TV shows, books, and vacations to Disneyland or anything Disney themed.
