Walker Pendarvis

My hero is my dad, Walker Pendarvis. I know him because he is related to me. He lives in Savannah, Georgia, and I have known him my whole entire life. He was born in Ohio but mostly lived in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He has one older brother and one older sister. He went to the College of Charleston and then went to dental school. He married Kelly Pendarvis and lived in Charleston, South Carolina before he moved to Savannah. His favorite team is the South Carolina Gamecocks and he likes to play tennis. Those are the facts of why my dad is my hero.

My dad is a hero to me because he cleans my teeth and makes sure I eat right. He looks after me so a burglar does not come in the house. He helps me with problems I have. He is very kind and never is mean to me. This is why my dad is my hero.

My dad has many similarities and differences to the Greek heroes. My dad is like some of the Greek heroes because he is very good with tools, and he helps people. He is also very different than the Greek heroes because they did not do dentistry back then. These are the reasons my dad is a hero to me.
