I became aware of my hero when I was like in fifth grade. I always saw his shows and movies. His movies are so inspirational. Will Smith was a very good student, and got a scholarship that sent him to M.I.T. Instead, he passed up his scholarship in order to follow his career in music and entertainment. I consider Will Smith a hero for many different reasons. He has always been positive in his music since he was Fresh Prince, and even now, as just regular Will Smith. His lyrics need no profanity at all to be great, which is great. Will Smith is known worldwide, and there is no negative news about him.

When Smith does a movie, I love how his character is almost like himself. He has done many movies in which he plays other people, like Ali. Those were very positive, and seemed to me to be very serious to him. I could say that Will Smith is like a father to me, because whether I know him or not, he affects my life. He shows me that with hard work, honesty, and a good personality, you can do a lot with your life. You don't need negativity in your life to make it right. Will Smith is a real life "super-hero". Will Smith was a very good student, and got a scholarship that sent him to M.I.T. Instead, he passed up his scholarship in order to follow his career in music and entertainment. Even though Will Smith is an actor, he still went to school and got his scholarship. I think no matter what we want to be, we still need to go to school. Smith makes millions, he can support his family. Will Smith is a big family man and though he has a lot of money, he is not someone who will spend it on chains and fast cars. He invests his money in new projects like shows and movies, which is more respectable to me than spending it on frivolous things (even though I do want a few frivolous things myself.)

I think in order to be an artist, you need to be positive and try hard in what you believe in. Will Smith. He is funny, he speaks his mind, he has his own opinion, he's a family man, he is responsible, and he just has the right personality and smarts to be someone who is looked up to. That’s why I chose him as my hero.

First of all, he is a non-violent actor. While most actors go through stages of smoking and drinking, he is still healthy and sticks to acting in non-violent movies, mostly intended for kids. He encourages kids to stay healthy and to ignore those who try to lure them into drugs and gang violence. He is devoted to his wife, with whom he has been for a long time, and to his children. Pursue his dream: to become a famous actor with a good image. He struggled a lot and made his way into many people's hearts with kindness, and not with fake personality. I look up to him and his bravery. I'm sure that's how he became very famous. He also became famous in his acting. I love the way he still keeps on following his dream and doesn't give up like many other actors, who rise to fame suddenly but are soon destroyed by a bad lifestyle.

I think I know I can pursue my dream. All I have to do is think positive. Will Smith has taught me to reach for my dream. I would still want to go to college and finish school to get my scholarship. I have to believe just like Will says. Even though I really don’t want to be an actor, Will is still my favorite because he has taught kids to not do drugs and all that bad stuff.
