Wang Yung-Ching

Of all the influential people throughout Taiwan, Wang Yung-Ching is my most respectful hero. When he was nine, his family didn't have enough money to support him to go to school. It forced him to work as a rice seller to earn the money. That is the most important time to him because if he hadn't had this time, he wouldn't have such great abilities. He is generous, economical, active, and has a high standard to himself. He had a sentence that really impressed me which is "Don't wait for opportunity, the opportunity should be made by yourself." So In order to succeed, he also created the special sale way which was aroused when he was a rice seller. All of the challenges to Wang turned into the power which made him stand out from the other business people and be the most successful businessman.

Wang Yung-Ching is not only the successful businessman but also the health care protector. He built the hospital named Chang Gung, and aimed to change Taiwan's medical environment. He had a dream that he wanted everyone to have the right of health. In his hospital, every patient can receive treatment even though the patient can't pay for the bill. Because of the childhood he experienced, he knew that how terrible it was to have no money. So he never showed any pride or wasted the money. He told his children- You save a dollar is better than you earn a dollar. There is no denying that his modest personality and kind heart have a huge influence on the way I view life.
