Wade Ziegler

My hero is my dad, Wade Ziegler. He is probably the best person I know other than my mom. I have known my dad for my whole life. He lives in Savannah, Georgia. The relationship I have with my dad is awesome. I don't think I could have a better dad. That is all about my hero, my dad.

My dad is my hero for many reasons. He is a hero to me because he defends our country. He risks his life for us when he has to fly over the Atlantic Ocean to very bad places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and other terrible places. He is also a hero to me because he test flies Chinooks and other kinds of helicopters. You may not think that is anything dangerous, but there could be something wrong with the machine that would make him crash and possibly not make it. Those are some of the ways my dad is a hero to me.

My dad is similar to, but also different than Greek mythology heroes. He is similar to the Greek heroes because he is brave. He fights in war to defend his country, and he risks his life for our country. He is also different than the Greek mythology heroes because he does not like to kill people at all, whatsoever. The ancient Greeks probably wouldn't see my dad as a hero, but I do.
