Walter Camp

Do you know who invented football? Well, if you didn't know, Walter Camp invented football. Also, if you wanted to know that I love to play football most with my friends outside by this parking lot. In case you didn't notice, my hero did struggle with some things in life. He is my hero because if he didn't come up with football I might be inside, always bored. Do you want to know a little about Walter's life, his struggles, and why he's my hero? Let me tell you a little while from now.

Do you like to play football, because I love to play football? That's why Walter Camp is my hero. I like football because I like getting the ball and making touchdowns for my team. Also I am a good running back for my football team. I can win most of our football games. Another example is how you play the game; you play it by when you are on offense you want to get into the in zone. When you're on defense you don't want to let them score a touchdown you want to make them punt it off to you. These are the reasons why I like to play football.

My hero did struggle with many things. One example is he had trouble coming up with plays for his players. Another example is he didn't know what to do for the rules of football. A last example is he struggled to make this sport so popular. As you can see Walter Camp didn't struggle with so many things.

Here is some history about Walter Camp, throughout his entire life. Walter Camp was born on April 17, 1854 in New Haven Connecticut. He attended Yale from 1876 to 1882, where he studied medicine and business. He was general athletic director and head advisory football coach at Yale University from 1888 to 1914, and chairman of the Yale football committee from 1888 to 1912.

As you can see this is why Walter camp is my hero. Now I told you about his accomplishments, what he struggled with, and what he did throughout his life. Now you can see why I think Walter Camp would be my hero. He is a hero to me.
