War Horse and his best pal (http://www.cherwell.org/library/image/war-horse_2328.jpg) |
"We'll be alright Joey. We're the lucky ones, you and me. Lucky since the day I met you," said Joey's owner. Joey has been called "War Horse" because of his magnificent accomplishments and fearless heart.
First of all, Joey is brave. He was scared to be leaving his home, but he still left. His new owners worked him hard for weeks. He never thought about the past and kept fighting for freedom. In one point of a battle, he was separated from all of the Americans soldiers. He had to find his way back home. Along the way, he had to go through many different trials because of bandits who wanted to steal him. He fought and still got stolen, but soon got free. This happened repeatedly. However, he gave it his all in war no matter who rode upon his back or how he was treated..
Lastly, this courageous war horse never gave up. Once he was trapped in a big bundle of barbed wire for two days. For two days he thrashed and thrashed and got all cut up. He eventually freed himself with ruined, battered skin. Over and over again, he fought with more people and made peace all over the world.
Joey is called "War Horse", because of his bravery, big heart, and perseverance. Now that you have read my biography, you should be thankful that none of your loved ones went through what Joey did. If you see anybody needing help, give them a helping hand.
