The World

by Maro Adams

Compassion to help the world, those who need it, wanted or not. My hero is that one person, who cares purely about life, the life of people, those losing it, and those who have suffered impairment of their lives. My hero is that person who has the love of life, knowledge, and people. They are those who are strong, courageous, and will push their determination to the sky’s limit to achieve their goals of greatness for the betterment of the world.

From Martin Luther King to Helen Keller and all the people that turn heads in their societies, and communities, doing virtuous things every day are heroes in my eyes. Even little Iqbal Masih fought all conformities, and decided that despite his age, all his friends that were suffering from child labor, just as he did once, deserved a different life, they deserved an education.

My point is, no matter who we are, where we come from, how many years of life we’ve experienced, if we, all as human beings are willing to put others in front of ourselves, then in time we will become our own heroes, of strength, courage, and new ideas. The doors are open wide if we let the love of mankind lead the way. My Hero is the world, everyone who’s ever overcome something, and put someone else’s dreams and hopes in front of their own! The spot in my heart reserved for a hero is reserved for civilians resisting conformity, and those resisting the ailment of becoming a bystander. My heroes are cancer survivors, the millions who pick themselves up when they are at their lowest, those who look past the flaws of friends, and encourage greatness in the world. Those who have enough to hope and those who have enough to dream, they are my heroes.
