A Life of Giving

My Uncle, A H M Mainuddin Ahmed, was more than just a social worker, he was the heart and soul behind the Charfassion Orphanage, a home for up to 70 boys who might otherwise be left without a home. Even as a former Lawyer and UN Human Rights Advocate, his biggest passion was ensuring that children received not only food and shelter, but also a solid education and a future beyond the orphanage’s walls. I have always admired his deep compassion and dedication, and I chose to paint him as a way of honoring the hero who showed me that true greatness lies in lifting others up. Though he passed away in 2022, his guiding spirit lives on in every child who grows under the roof he built, and in all the lives he touched through unwavering kindness.
