This piece is a love letter to my mother. Throughout my life she has always been there to support me when I stumble, to laugh with me in moments of joy, and to guide me back to the right path when I stray. The older I get the more grateful I am, and the more I recognize all the sacrifices she has made to create the life we have together in America. This piece is about reflecting on that gratitude and my mother's hardworking resilience.
