ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Once upon a time there was a guy named Abraham Lincoln who became the president of the USA and did many great things but he is well known for releasing many many slaves from free labor. Abraham was heroic because there was a different race of people that he could have worked for him against their will but he chose to free as many of them as he could. 

Abraham was raised in a lot of poverty and had to work a lot and he had to teach himself most things. In 1830 he moved to Illinois where he worked as a flatboat navigator, storekeeper, and surveyor. He married Mary Todd in 1842 and had 4 kids. Abraham responded to the hostile environment by teaching himself how to do things on his own.

 Abraham Lincoln helped improve the world by leading the United States through the civil war which resulted in the abolition of slavery which saved many people and the two races get along way better now and there are no slaves in the present

. Abraham Lincoln has many great values such as empathy towards others, bravery, and integrity. These values cause him to try to do as much as he can to help others because they are the basic traits of a good person and Abraham takes them to The next level. 

The traits Abraham has have made him a good person because many of them basically just mean kind and many of them basically mean brave and a kind and brave person will just do whatever to spread kindness. I look up to Abraham Lincoln because he thinks about other people a lot and is very kind. We can learn from him because a lot of people don't think about others or aren’t kind or both but we could learn from Abraham that it matters to be kind.
