Heroes run this world. Without a hero people would not have a goal to work towards. Most people think heroes are people that run aroun in spandex and shoot webs ou of their wrists. My hero is Shaun Alexander. Shaun was born on August 30, 1977, in Florence, Kentucky. He is a running back in the NFL that plays for the Seattle Seahawks. Shaun has many heroic characteristics. He is strong, caring, and honest.

One of Shaun’s heroic characteristics is that he is strong. Shaun is not only physically strong but mentally as well. It takes poise to go out there and do what he does. Shaun is also physically strong. It takes some muscle to go out there and bang heads for four quarters with players in the NFL.

Another one of Shaun’s heroic characteristics is that he is caring. Shaun has started his own foundation called The Shaun Alexander Foundation. The foundation is for young men who do not have a father figure in their life. Their goal is to help them in education, athletics, character programs, and leadership training. He also has another foundation called Club 37. This foundation is for young men to teach and mentor other young men.

My last heroic characteristic for Shaun is that he is honest. This, to me, is the most important characteristic. Shaun is a Christian man that lives by the Bible. He considers Psalms 37:4 his life verse. Honesty really is the best policy. That’s why Shaun is my hero.

In conclusion, Shaun is one of the most generous people in the world. He makes the choice everyday to touch someones life even when he dose not have to. Oh yeah, he can carry the pigskin around pretty good, too.
