Andy Wachnik

My hero is Andy Wachnik, who is my grandpa. Andy is a strong-minded person. He is my hero because he had the willpower and strength when he faced the worst conditions and he would always come out on top. He had the dedication to always help his family in any way. Not only was his family poor, but his mom and dad both had work, and so did 11-year-old Andy. Since his mom and dad worked full time, he needed to look after his four younger siblings too. He always shows his love for me and our whole family. He’s always there to help. He is a loving grandpa and always tries to help in any way. You can truly see the love he has for us. This is why my grandpa will always be my hero at heart, for the love he gives and the hard work he does. I truly look up to him.
