My hero, Hayao Miyazaki, has inspired me to be the artist I am today. As a co-creator of Studio Ghibli, his beautiful films were a big part of my childhood and many others. I remember mimicking his art style while I was in elementary school and making up my own characters in an attempt to resemble his. His ability to bring characters to life through his art is what made me fall in love with illustrating people.
I hope to one day inspire someone like he did for me.
