A hero is a person that inspires someone to set their goals and work hard to achieve their goals. The person I chose as my hero is Beyonce Giselle Knowels. Beyonce Giselle Knowels is bold, intense, and passionate.

She is an actress/ singer. She was born on September 4th 1981 in Houston, Texas. She is a fan of Middle Eastern dance and music. Not only is she an actress/ singer, she also owns a fashion line, "House of Dereon". Beyonce named the clothes line after her grandmother Agnes Dereon. Along with her mother, they design trendy, junior clothing. She worked hard to achieve 3 great jobs.

Not only does Beyonce have her own clothes line, she also is the leader of a musical group called Destiny’s child. In the group, joining her, are Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. They were discovered by Whitney Hughson. Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles, is the manager of the musical group. Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, designs the costumes for the girls.

To me, Beyonce is a beautiful, young talented girl. She was voted # 1 on VH1’s 100 hottest hotties. Also she was nominated # 17 for Maximum Magazine's hot 100 of 2005. She has won many awards. The following are some she has won: the Britt awards for best female artist, and 5 Grammies. She also goes to benefits. One she attended was a South African AIDS benefit show in November 2003. I think that when celebrities go to benefits that they are really kind to take up their time to show some respect.

Beyonce’s family has Creole heritage on the mother’s side of the family. Her mother is Tina Knowles. Her father is Matthew Knowles. She has a sister named Salonge. Beyonce and her sister Salonge are 5 yrs apart. Beyonce is the oldest. Salonge has a son and she is married. When Beyonce was little she starred on Star Search, when she was 3. She started her career off very young.

Beyonce is not single. She is currently seeing a rapper by the name of Jay-z. The two have been dating for quite a while now. They made a cd and produced many hit songs that tend to be catchy. Beyonce and Jay-z are buying a house in Miami. They are also buying a house in London, England. They own 3 apartments in south beach.

Beyonce is a fan of Aisha Warya Rai. She is also a fan of the rapper Wycleaf Jean. Beyonce studied acting with Ivana Chubbuck, and Beyonce has starred in many famous movies. She attended Welch Middle school in Houston, Texas. Beyonce and Rashard Lewis went to the same high school. She also attended a school for performing & visual arts in Houston.

Beyonce works hard maintaining 3 jobs: actress, singer, and owner of a clothes line. She has collaborated wit many artist like Shakria, Sean Paul, and also Jay-z. She starred in Pink Panther, Flights to Temptations, and also Gold Member.

Beyonce Giselle Knowles is my hero because she inspires me, how she started her career early so that when she was older she became really famous. She works hard for what she wants to achieve. She is a talented singer and a hero to many who dream of a career in music. She is an achiever. I desire to be known for that as well. Beyonce also makes money with her clothes line for juniors and goes to benefits for support. She inspires me a lot.
